Pedigree ad : "Meet Otis"

Homeless animals make me sad

I am a real sucker for animals, all animals without exception. I think that animals are helpless and sometimes rely on humans, and they let them down. So depressing. Animals aren't deceitful like humans.
When I see homeless animals or animal who is suffering, it makes me want to pick them up and wrap my arms around them.
But let’s be honest. This ad goes to town on the pathos. Not only is there visual pathos but textual pathos as well and both of those come together to evoke certain emotions in the onlooker including sadness, pity, compassion and possibly even shame.

Creative Animal Ads

This will happen to Dave, who insists on eating bread left out on the lawn for the birds!

Today I wanted to introduce you to the latest advertising campaign conducted by Lowe Indonesia for Lifebuoy soap.

For the record, Lifebuoy is one of Unilever's oldest brands. Under this brand lies a disinfectant soap launched in the UK in 1894 at an affordable price. It is also a brand that has been able to find some important time such as:
- In 1940, during the Blitz of London, this brand has provided washing facilities free mobile emergency Londoners, showers cold water, soap and towels.
In the aftermath of the Asian tsunami in December 2004, there were in rescue packages distributed in Southern India, Sri Lanka and Indonesia Lifebuoy soap to prevent the spread of infectious disease pandemic.
- In 2005, more than 200,000 Lifebuoy soap were donated to UNICEF and the International Committee of the Red Cross to support their relief efforts following the earthquake in northern India and Pakistan.

From the perspective of prevention and promotion of its product, the brand has communicated around the message "You Eat What You Touch" and personally, I found that the creations of this campaign are all just excellent!
